Comments About This Site
This property, as a National Historic Site, represents one of several farms in Victoria that supplied food and labour to incoming employees of the Hudson's Bay Company. Adjacent to the farm is one of the oldest schools in British Columbia. The web site details the property's beginnings through to present day, including recent archaeological activity.
My involvement with this site was to work with the site designer to develop the structure and layout, coordinate and train team members in collections and site photography, and develop a cohesive content strategy that targeted the BC Grade 10 Social Studies Curriculum.
