Roedde House: a Window to the Past

Canada's Digital Collections Program and Roedde House

Comments About this Site

Roedde House is a Heritage house museum that was designed by Francis Rattenbury (the same architect who designed the B.C. Parliament Buildings). The content for the site was derived in part from the curriculum "A Window to the Past" created by the Roedde's granddaughter. I designed the site with an Art Nouveau theme because many of the artifacts within the house reflect this theme. As with other sites created through funding from the Canada's Digital Collections program, this site was also used as a basis for teaching students Web development and small-business skills.
